About Us
Who are we?
We are the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit to focus on the prevention of wrongful convictions. By providing free information to the public, we hope that no innocent person is ever sent to jail for something they didn’t do.
Studies range from a “low” of 1% to a high of 10% for how many innocent people are in jail. Regardless of what the true value is, we believe that it is too high. People can avoid going to jail if they know what their rights are but most don’t. We are here to change that.
Values
We abide by 3 core values: integrity, courage, equality. These values guide us as we fulfill our mission.
Integrity - No matter what we will be honest and true to our purpose.
Courage - It takes great courage to fight false accusations and survive the U.S. legal system.
Equality - No one, regardless of gender or age, should ever be convicted of a crime they did not commit. Our resources will be available to all at no cost. Always.
